WHITE, Ep. 57 - Trust In Me
White, otherwise known as Min Woo is a Level 3 trainee of the Aberrant Corps. He is currently a member of Cell 4 alongside Sayeon Lee, Iseul Kim, and Ryujin Kang. He is notable for his skilled usage of essence and prowess in combat, which is contrasted by his introverted nature and lack of pride.[1]
Appearance[]
Min Woo is a tall teenage boy with white hair, white eyes and pale skin. He has a distinct cross shapes mark on the left side of his face, across his cheek and eye, and another scar on his left cheek. His appearance is noted by Sayeon Lee to be intimidating, going so far as to make Sayeon think that "he looks like he's done ten years at the federal penitentiary." (Ep. 6 - The Instructor)
Personality[]
Min Woo's face is almost unmoving, and always appears distant and often stern. He's extremely non-expressive and neutral, having barely reacted to pain being inflicted onto him[2] and being difficult to read.
Min appears to be quite programmed and subservient. His thinking is described in the series as "by the book" in his flashback. He's very compliant to following orders.
He respects those who do not fight fairly, as shown when Min agrees to teach Sayeon Lee even after she tricked him in order to win a game.[3] Despite his intimidating appearance, Min has a penchant for baking, having made a loaf of bread for Iseul Kim, which he also shared with Sayeon.
History[]
Little is known about Min's history. It is suggested that he was used to farm Rapture as a child, which left him with his current appearance and lack of pigmentation.[4] At one point, he encountered a dangerous Aberrant with orange essence and ponytail, who may have given him the scar under his eye.[5]
At some point he joined The Crimson Society and went undercover on Red's orders to watch over Sayeon.

Gift[]
Min Woo is an aberrant who uses green essence. His gift allows him to create large blades on both his arms. He does not seem to be able to hold anything while doing so.[7] Despite claiming that he only activates his gift without a trigger when he wants his attack to be unexpected[8], the trigger he uses has not been made clear. In Ep. 34 - Round Two (3), he seems to clench his essence and swing it downwards to summon a second blade; it is possible that this is his trigger.

Though it is not certain how Min feels about the rest of Cell 4, they seem to consider him a friend. It is unknown whether he has a family or any friends outside of the Corps.

The extent of their relationship haven't been fully revealed, however it shows that Min respects his boss by following her orders to watch over Sayeon.
