" A 20% survival rate for corps trainees... My father did warn me about that- to scare me, I assumed. But if this is the skill level the other trainees are at... It's a wonder that the survival rate is so high."

.Taeho Gyeon is a member of the Aberrant Corps and Cell 3. He is also a member of the Gyeon Clan.

Teaho Gyeon is arrogant and sarcastic. He also looks down on cell 4 and thinks that they are weak and pathetic. Worse than that, he also looks down on Jungwoo Do, the other member of his cell, shown when Min Woo blocked Jungwoo's spear to save Ryujin. Jungwoo then warned him about Min, but Taeho replied to him with "Anyone can parry a half-assed attack like that" (Ep. 32 - Round Two).

His impression of her changed when Jungwoo revealed that Sayeon Lee was the one to plan Cell 4's victory in C.T.F. His hand getting chopped wasn't an accident but intentional on Min Woo's part so that he couldn't play in the last round. Taeho later challenges Sayeon to a duel and smiles at her when he calling names in episode 60. It can be assumed that Sayeon had left a positive influence on Taeho as he now knows her true capabilities and why his hand was cut off. Upon talking with her he doesn't show resentment or anger towards her. Instead he calmly cautions Sayeon to stay away from his cell but still wants to duel her, indicating a level of respect as he now views her as an equal and perhaps someone who can help him improve in his own abilities as an aberrant.

Quotes[]

Talking about Cell 4 in episode 28: "Five points...? And all we need to do is beat them?"
